Helm | 2008 – 2015

The post-rock juggernaut I commandeered through the scene from 2008-2015.
It was my very reluctant return to the music scene after a long hiatus and sworn oath that I’d never grace a stage or studio again. Yeah well. We’ve all heard that before…

We did well considering we were pretty much a ‘Dad-band’ attempting to navigate the ever-changing, modern music industry with a weird, niche-market band like Helm.
Still, we managed to sell records all around the world, amassed a very loyal cult following of super nice people and played so many amazing shows with so many amazing bands.

We left behind a tough legacy in Volume’s 1, 2 & 3 and we’re all proud of what we achieved, all things considered.
We also managed to clock up an obscene amount of live performances in such a short time! Personally, I’ve played over 1,000 + shows in my life and by rough tally, I believe almost a third of them were played with this band over 7 years.
Way more than necessary haha.
